Aripuanã Indian reservation, Espigão D’Oeste, Rondônia, Brazil: 07-19-2019: Members of the Specialized Inspection Group, part of Ibama, Brazil's environmental protection agency, after the occupation of an illegal mining in the indigenous reserve of Aripuanã. The mining had already been deactivated by Ibama in 2016, but tools and motor-pumps were found, indicating that miners had returned and continued operating on site.
